This policy explains how Kerythos AI LLC ("Kerythos", "we", "us") — the company behind the Kethosbase product — handles personal data through the Kethosbase website (kethosbase.com) and the Kethosbase platform (together, the "Service"). We are responsible for the personal data described here. Questions or requests: templar@kerythos.ai.

1. Data we collect

On this website

• Analytics (only with your consent): if you accept cookies, Google Analytics sets cookies and collects usage data — pages viewed, approximate location (from IP, which Google truncates), and device and browser information — to help us understand how the site is used.
• Server logs: our servers keep short-lived technical logs (IP address, timestamp, request path) for security and operation. These are not used to profile you.

On the platform

• Account data: your e-mail, organization and project names, and authentication data.
• Usage and billing: request and storage metering, plan, and (for paid plans) billing data processed by Stripe — we do not store full card numbers.
• Customer data: the data you store in your projects. We process it on your behalf to provide the Service; you are its controller.

2. Cookies and analytics

The website uses cookies only after you click "Accept" in the consent banner. Decline, and no analytics cookies are set — only what the site needs to function. Analytics runs on kethosbase.com only, never on subdomains.

When enabled, Google Analytics 4 sets cookies such as _ga and _ga_<id> to distinguish visitors and measure usage. You can change your choice at any time: Manage cookie preferences. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser.

3. Why we use your data (legal bases)

• Consent — for website analytics cookies (LGPD Art. 7, I; GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). You may withdraw it at any time.
• Performance of a contract — to provide the platform you sign up for (LGPD Art. 7, V; GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
• Legitimate interests / legal obligation — security, fraud prevention, and keeping records (LGPD Art. 7, IX/II; GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)/(c)).

4. Who we share data with

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with processors that help us run the Service:

• Google (Analytics) — website usage, with your consent.
• Stripe — payment processing for paid plans.
• Oracle Cloud Infrastructure — hosting.
• Our e-mail provider — transactional e-mail (sign-up, password reset).

5. International transfers

We are based in the United States; our processors may handle data in the U.S. and other countries. For users in the EU/UK or Brazil, cross-border transfers rely on the provider's safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses).

6. Retention

We keep account and platform data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service and meet legal obligations, then delete or anonymize it. Analytics data follows Google Analytics' retention settings. Server logs are short-lived.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under the GDPR (EU/EEA and UK), the CCPA/CPRA (California), or the LGPD (Brazil) — for example to confirm whether we process your data; access, correct, or delete it; port it; know what we share; opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal data (we do not sell it); and withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, e-mail templar@kerythos.ai; we will not discriminate against you for exercising them. You may also complain to your local authority (e.g. the ANPD in Brazil or an EU data protection authority).

8. Security

We protect data with encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest for sensitive material, least-privilege access, and Row-Level Security isolation between projects. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your data safe.

9. Children

The Service is not directed to children and is not intended for anyone under the age required to consent in their jurisdiction.

10. Changes

We may update this policy; we will revise the date above and, for material changes, give notice. Continued use after an update means you accept it.
